Reporting to and under the supervision of the Associate Dean and Program Director, Songwriting and Production, the ideal candidate will have college-level admissions experience, strong interpersonal skills, and be highly organized and detail-oriented. The Admissions and Enrollment Manager will proactively manage the admissions process for all program specializations at Berklee NYC.

The Admissions and Enrollment Manager will proactively manage the full admissions lifecycle across all program specializations at Berklee NYC. This role requires a high degree of independent decision-making, initiative, and cross-campus coordination, including leading applicant communications, overseeing admissions data tracking and reporting, and organizing admissions and enrollment events.

This position plays a key role in shaping the applicant experience, supporting enrollment goals, and ensuring alignment between Berklee NYC and Boston-based admissions teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and lead admissions communication via e-mail and telephone with prospective inquiries and applicants concerning BNYC programs and application procedures.

  • Oversee and manage the admissions data process, creating regular reports to evaluate applicant trends, pipeline health, and enrollment progress

  • Process, manage, and maintain all applicants' materials through input and data linking within various systems.

  • Populate, track, and communicate applicant data to Program Directors, Executive Director for BNYC, and relevant stakeholders

  • Develop and deliver reports and presentations (demographics, trends) using data from multiple systems, including visualizations and summaries for internal use

  • Organize and manage all BNYC admissions and enrollment events throughout the admissions and enrollment cycle such as open houses, nurture events, and campus tours.

  • Communicate closely with Program Directors, supporting them with applicant communication and tracking throughout the year.

  • Drives the nurturing of viable candidates through the admissions process.

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of all program specializations, and confidently communicate program offerings and value to prospective students and applicants.

  • Supervise 1 student employee to carry out office management and administrative tasks.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the necessary discretion to work with confidential information.

  • High-level proficiency with Google Drive, Microsoft Office, Content Management Systems (Drupal preferred), and MailChimp.

  • Knowledge of Datatel Colleague, Marketo, and Salesforce platforms is a plus.

  • Event planning experience preferred.

  • Supervise student employees to carry out office management and administrative tasks as needed.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or commensurate experience

  • 2-3 years of work experience

  • Professional experience in higher education admissions

  • Knowledge of and experience with college computer systems highly desirable

  • Demonstrated skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff, and faculty

  • Ability to work effectively within an ethnic, cultural, and socially diverse student population

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential

  • Positive attitude and great team spirit

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to meet a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and/or weekends

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, ETC. (Responsible for on-call, 24 HR. coverage, etc.):

  • Some weekends and evenings

  • Some travel for recruitment events

Hiring Range: $68,000 to $80,000; salary dependent on relevant experience and education.
