Job Description:
Consulting Network Engineer
- The resource must be in San Antonio, TX, and be available to work on-site 5 days a week
As a Consulting Engineer (CE), you will be responsible for delivering solutions and Services, including design, installation, and day-to-day proactive services. The CE connects with customers, frequently working within an extended multi-functional team that includes the project manager, account team members (Product and Services Sales, Presales Systems Engineers), and Customer Success. As part of this role, we are looking for professionals across the following product domains:
- Candidate must have extensive hands-on experience with enterprise networking and R/S principles
- Specific experience with IOS-XE, ASR9k, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and other R/S principles is required
Main responsibilities:
- Creation of customer documentation, including Customer Requirements Documents, High-Level Designs, and Low-Level Designs; Migration, Implementation and Test plans for Cisco solutions
- Lead and assist in design workshops and consultancy services.
- Tackle implementation problems during migrations.
- Assists customers with deploying tools that support them and related Network Management Systems.

As a Consulting Engineer, you will be partnered with a team of talented Architects, Technical Leaders, Consulting Engineers, Project Managers, and Delivery Leaders who are obsessed with our customers' success and showing them the value we brings to our clients.
Who You Are
Required Skills:
- CCIE, CCNP, or higher certifications, or equivalents
- 10+ years of Network engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in technical consulting or direct customer interfacing/engagement role with a deep understanding of industry-standard methodologies related to the networking domain.
- This role will involve working for a DOD client hence you may need to undergo an extensive background check process.
