Field Operator Job Opportunity
Cotuit Fire District Water Department
The Cotuit Fire District Water Department is hiring a Field Operator. This full-time position pays $25–$30 per hour, depending on qualifications, and includes benefits.
Requirements:
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
- Residence within 10 miles of the Fire District.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools and small equipment is preferred.
Licenses:
Must hold or obtain a 1-D Massachusetts Drinking Water Distribution License and a 1-T Massachusetts Drinking Water Treatment License within one year of employment.
Schedule:
40 hours per week: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Overtime, weekends, holidays, and nighttime work are required on a 3-week rotation.
