Full Job Description
Production Maintenance Electrician
The Omaha World Herald, a Lee Enterprises Inc. entity is seeking an experienced Production Maintenance Electrician to join our printing and production team at the Freedom Center in downtown Omaha. This team prints many Lee Enterprises newspapers across the region.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Electrician include PLC, motor controls, AC/DC drives, HVAC controls, building maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment and component level repairs. This position will ultimately end up being a night shift position with hours of 6:30pm to 2:30 am or 8pm to 4am with a training period on day shift in the beginning.
The ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience in the production maintenance field along with technical school or approved apprenticeship training. A state electrical license and knowledge of NEC codes are a plus. Preference is given to candidates with good troubleshooting skills and preventative maintenance experience.
