Full Job Description

Begin with stabilizing and building relationships with your current account base. Identify opportunities in your assigned territory to generate new business, reactivate dormant accounts, and grow existing dealer, general contractors, and specifying community (arch – engineers and designers) ( influencers ) to achieve quarterly sales objectives and build your territory for long term sustainability.

Position will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager.

Know Our Products

  • Become proficient in Ultralox product category and demonstrate a knowledge of the building materials industry
  • Learn ins and outs of assigned territory
  • Develop great relationships with Ultralox reps in assigned territory
  • Travel semi-annually to learn market & work in the field
  • Ability to communicate and sell value through differentiation – the machine difference
  • Gather & pass on competitive market intelligence

Maintain, Develop, and Create Customer Relationships

  • Call and connect with new and/or existing dealers, contractors, and/or architects to sell our products
  • Ability to Cold call Architects, GC’s and Developers
  • Ability to run virtual training.
  • Acquire new customers and convert existing customers through prospecting in assigned territory, outbound marketing campaigns, and referrals
  • Engage customers and present products at industry events and shows (IBS, Minneapolis Home and Garden Show, Deck Expos, etc.)
  • Be a strong advocate for the customer. Have the creative ability to help the customer while staying within overall company guidelines.
  • Ability and manage and smooth out conflicts between Ultralox and the customers

Market and Customer Analysis

  • Effectively uses technology-based CRM Salesforce tool for lead follow-up, pipeline management, forecasting and lost opportunity tracking
  • Keeps comprehensive and accurate notes in CRM Salesforce
  • Utilize Salesforce to identify customer opportunities and track performance
  • Identify leads/tracks jobs in Salesforce
  • Participate in business initiatives and projects to drive market growth

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field desired but not required
  • Experience: 3 to 5+ years of Sales Experience and/or Customer Service Experience
  • Experience in Building Industry Preferred
  • Comfortable running virtual training
  • Eager, ready to learn, and open to being coached

  • Strong negotiation skills with consultative professional business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to read Blueprints.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets.  The annual salary for this position ranges from $59,000 in our lowest market up to $75,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable.  The pay for roles at Ultralox varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
