About This Opportunity
General Description:
Sr. Program Support Analyst provide guidance to Merchandising team members on requirements and capabilities of Merchandising.
Business Systems to facilitate the capture of assortment, promotion, item cost, and cost support decisions / negotiations in an accurate and
supportable manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as subject matter expert to aid the Merchandising team with Merchandise Business Systems related processes, forms,
service levels, protocols, systems, and policies Document system and process 'nuances and work-arounds' that are not well known by the
Merchandising team in a consistent format that can be used as a point of reference by the organization Assist merchandising team in
prioritization of projects and tasks in a time sensitive environment and correctly identify critical paths among task dependencies.
Considerations include the item master maintenance schedule, the item master keying and proofing processes, code table entry, proofing
and approval processes, the processes for addition of new suppliers and stores, etc. Facilitate the resolution of escalated merchandising
issues related to rejected workflow requests. Build relationships with assigned PD(s), CMs, and ZMs. Communicate effectively with
merchandising leadership while aiding the
Sr Merchandising Program Manager in ensuring that planned activities are consistent with SEI strategy. Provide support to the Category
Support Supervisors dung periods of increased activity. Coordinate efforts required to resolve issues/special projects (i.e. compiling data,
hosting meetings, coordinating with other departments, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree Experience: 3-5, Retail Product. Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic
environment.. Strong understanding of nuances related to distribution method, strategic initiatives, and 7-Eleven systems
and processes.. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience performing data entry,
retrieval,
and analysis.. Previous experience with 7-Eleven proprietary software. Ability to understand analyze, execute, and train others on complex
processes from a system and business perspective. Ability. to gather and evaluate information from diverse sources and quickly determine
necessary actions. Ability to accurately
assess potential impact to stores when making decisions and recommendations.. Must possess strong written and verbal communicaiton
skills and the ability to influence others.
