Our marketing agency client is looking for a SEO Director to join their team. This role will be hybrid and require you to come onsite at least 3 days a week to their office in Charlotte, NC.
The SEO Director should have experience leading a team and performing audits, optimizing content across web pages, and driving search rankings using deep knowledge in local SEO search while working in a fast-paced and results oriented environment.
SEO Director Responsibilities:
- Develop optimization strategies to increase the organization's search engine results, drive website traffic, etc.
- Craft strategies to address SEO trends across digital channels
- Lead and mentor a team of SEO Managers, Strategists and Analysts
- Execute results-driven SEO tactics including audits, keyword research, content optimization and backlinks
- Drive improvement in organic search rankings across locations, using local SEO search knowledge
- Use GA4 and Google Search Console and other tools track rankings and report on key search terms in various locations
- Attend and present to clients and be the client-facing SEO expert
SEO Director Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of SEO experience preferably at an agency or professional services company
- Expert level knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, MOZ, ahrefs, etc.
- Must have experience leading a team
- Ability to work on multiple different projects for multiple clients at a given time
