The Director, Advanced Analytics & Insights will play a pivotal role in developing an analytics roadmap that aligns with the strategies of the Indication Strategy Teams. (IST). This role is essential in transforming data into actionable insights to drive impactful business decision. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with the overall strategy while establishing strategic partnerships and managing cross-functional dependencies. Collaboration within your community will be key, fostering a culture of innovation and thought leadership to ensure business value and user feedback are effectively translated into new developments when necessary.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with US Indication Strategy Teams (IST) to develop and support strategic initiatives, leveraging data and advanced analytics to generate actionable insights that drive business growth
  • Provide thought leadership and perform hand-on analytics, playing a dual role in supporting CIDP, MG, or pipeline products
  • Collaborate with leadership to understand key business questions, identify the right analytical approach, align insights from commercial analytics and field teams, enabling smarter, data-driven decisions that address key business challenges and opportunities
  • Oversee all aspects of analytics, including predictive modelling, targeting & segmentation, promotional effectiveness, resource optimization, marketing strategy development, and pull-through analytics
  • Drive innovation by applying expertise in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced modelling, ensuring data-driven, impactful business decisions
  • Leverage existing technology and explore innovative solutions beyond traditional models to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Adaptive and motivated leader with proven ability to build, lead, and execute while being hands-on and results-driven
  • Extensive experience in data analytics and insights to support strategic decisions, provide both strategic thought leadership and hands-on analytics
  • Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, with expertise in interpreting complex data to inform decision and enhance effectiveness
  • Strong strategic and collaborative approach, excelling in cross-functional alignment with a matrix organization
  • Hands-on expertise in applying advanced analytics and statistical methods to large and disparate datasets, preferably in patient level, including statistical analysis, modelling, machine Learning, and artificial intelligence
  • Effectively manage multiple external vendor and partner relationships, ensuring high quality and insightful deliverables to achieve business objectives within budget and timelines
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA or BS, Advanced Degree Preferred
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on data analytics, and insights
  • 5+ years of domain expertise in these areas are highly desired: data analytics, or other related strategic analytics and management consulting
  • Extensive experience and deep understanding of various pharmaceutical data facets and processes, including data creation, acquisition, management, governance, quality, integration, visualization and statistical modelling
  • Hands-on expertise and proficiency with analytical and visualization tools (SQL, SAS, R, Python, Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI etc.)
  • Strong analytical background, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform complex and dynamic data sets into actionable insights that align with business priorities and drive impactful results
