Job Description
Our client in the consumer technology space is seeking a versatile Content Producer for both videography and photography to support their in-house creative team on a part-time contract basis. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who is highly comfortable owning the entire production workflow - from capture to post - while providing strong video editing support for ongoing internal projects.
High-level details:
- 20-30 hours/week
- Duration: 60 days+
- Location: hybrid onsite 1-2 days/week
- Equipment: client will provide access to a laptop for remote editing, as well as access to an onsite Mac Studio and Mac monitors, as well as access to DropBox for file organization and asset management
Position Overview:
This person will serve as a primary Content Creator for in-house needs and a key editor for a high volume of short and long-form video content. This role is roughly a 50/50 split between video and photo capability, depending on the week.
What You'll Do:
- Video Production and Editing: edit a high volume of video content, including internal communications, product features, and motion-based assets.
- Own post-production workflow end-to-end: organize, edit, sound balance, basic color, export, and final delivery
- Provide light motion graphics support as needed
- Collaborate with internal team members to shape narratives, sequences, and final cuts
- Maintain organized media libraries, naming conventions, and project files (primarily in Dropbox).
- Capture and edit photography for events, headshots, and internal marketing materials
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience as a Videographer, Video Editor, and Photographer - a true hybrid with comfort switching between disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to own editing independently with high proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro; experience with motion graphics is a plus
- Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating closely with the internal team.
- Someone who can jump in quickly and fill an immediate workflow gap for the next 60+ days.
- Ability to be onsite 1-2 times per week for capture; hybrid flexibility for editing.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
