The Corporate Consolidations Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire process of combining financial data from multiple subsidiaries into a single set of consolidated financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting by managing intercompany transactions, reconciling accounts, and complying with relevant accounting standards. This individual must have consolidations experience in Oracle Fusion (FCCS module and/or Hyperion).
Responsibilities:
- Consolidation process management: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process for all global entities, including gathering financial data from different subsidiaries, eliminating intercompany transactions, and preparing consolidated financial statements.
- Intercompany accounting: Manage the intercompany accounting process, ensuring accurate reconciliation of intercompany balances and proper elimination in consolidated financials.
- Financial reporting: Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement, ensuring compliance with GAAP or other relevant accounting standards.
- System management: Ensure proper utilization of accounting software and systems used for consolidation, including data integrity and process automation.
- Compliance: Implement and maintain internal controls over the consolidation process to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Past experience managing consolidations in Oracle Fusion (FCCS module and/or Hyperion)
- Past experience managing consolidations in SmartView
- Bachelors in Accounting, CPA Preferred
- Exhibits a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage and balance tasks effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. Assumes a high degree of responsibility and ownership.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and SmartView for financial modeling and analysis. Working knowledge of financial systems (Oracle required) to support data extraction, reporting, and statement generation.
