Facilities Specialist - Furniture Move Team
This position is 5 days a week in the office & will be based at the Facilities Warehouse @ 755 Jefferson Street, Atlanta GA
- Please Note: You may be required to work outside normal business hours &/or weekends, based on demand, with little to no advanced notice.
- (** This is a Non-Exempt position & you will be paid Overtime for any hours worked over 40 per week.)

JOB SUMMARY:
The Facilities specialist position is responsible for supporting Facilities warehouse operations, transporting and installing materials/furniture, and providing efficient response to employee and leader facilities-related requests. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Work years of experience: 1-5 years of warehouse experience, light carpentry, installation of office & systems furniture preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Special Certification: forklift operation-certified preferred, product-specific installation certifications a plus Preferred qualifications: Light carpentry/mechanical experience, ability to drive box truck or light delivery vehicles, experience working in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment, needs to be organized and customer-focused MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has been identified as a role that will require the use of a Georgia Power fleet vehicle (or driving a personal vehicle on behalf of GA Power.)
