Our agency client is looking for a full time Front End Developer located in the Charlotte, NC area.
To qualify for this role you must have a portfolio showcasing your work. The ideal candidate will have experience contributing to new site builds while maintaining existing client websites.
Front End Developer Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day web development tasks and site improvements while collaborating with our Development team on larger projects
- Take UI design render and create accessible and performant websites/components for WordPress and Shopify
- Perform technical troubleshooting on client websites
- Contribute to code quality through reviews and maintenance of development standards
- Create and optimize conversion-focused landing pages
- Set up analytical tracking through A/B testing and performance optimization
Front End Developer Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of front-end development experience, preferably in an agency setting
- Extensive WordPress experience, including custom theme and plugin development
- Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, SASS/SCSS & HTML5
- Proven ability to build responsive, accessible and performant websites
- Experience in Core Web Vitals optimization and performance tuning
- Experience in Shopify/Liquid development is a huge plus
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
