Guest Services Representative; 43 HRS Biweekly Day/Evening

Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER
Biweekly Hours: 43.00
Shift: Sat/Sun 10:30a-7p, Mon 2-8p

Summary:
Creates a positive first impression to all guests of The MetroHealth System. Welcomes patients and visitors in a warm and caring manner. Staffs the Welcome Desks and uttilizes visitor management system to accurately verify identity, assess appropriateness of visit and produce security badge. Expeditiously answers questions, provides patient information and directions in a courteous, respectful, and friendly manner. Provides concierge services as appropriate. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: High school graduate or passage of a high school equivalency exam. Two years' experience in a face-to-face customer service position in a healthcare, hospitality, or retail environment. Ability to provide clear and accurate verbal instructions. Demonstrates initiative and independent problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent requests. Presents a professional demeanor at all times. Possesses basic computer hardware and software skills. Ability to operate basic electronic equipment. Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Strong customer service skills, including service recovery.
Preferred: Proficiency in a second language.
Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents. May need to push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance.
