HRSS Subject Matter Experts are well versed the global HR Shared Services workstream processes and respective solution functionality, focusing on customer experience, knowledge building, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Accountable for managing complex requests, focal point for escalations for team.
As a HRSS Subject Matter Expert, you will:
* Demonstrate high proficiency in HR processes, policies, and standard operating procedures.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives for processes and team efficiency
* Provide excellent customer service support on HR related activities. Ensure consistent and reliable service for customers.
* Able to lead team as a delegate in the absence of the Team Lead.
* Consistent and reliable service delivery for customers.
* Train team members on subjects not covered by day-to-day operations.
* Identify training needs and propose training activities.
* Update process documentations and instill discipline within team to utilize the documents and adhere to changes.
* Manage cases/requests - focusing on more complex requests.
* Support Data Integrity initiatives in all HR Systems and ensure compliance
* Participate in UAT.
* End to end ownership to resolving complex issues for customers and team members
* Ability to manage stakeholder expectations by collaborating with peers regionally and globally.
* Accountable for document management and communicate changes proactively.
* Contributes to Continuous improvement initiatives and act as change agent for the initiatives.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in related area.
* Minimum 5 years' experience as Senior HR Services/HR Operations Specialist North America (mainly US and Canada).
* Knowledge of SAP, ServiceNow, Workday systems and other HR essential tools
* Extensive knowledge of North America HR Operations processes such as but not limited to: new hires, EEs life cycle, benefits admin, terminations, I-9 Administration, Unemployment Claims, Leave Management and Background Adjudication.
* General knowledge of North America country laws (US, Canada, Caribbean Islands) related to labor and employment (hiring practices, mandated leave acts, unemployment, etc.)
* Experience in managing a variety of stakeholders while maintaining strong communication across all levels of the organization
* Experience in conducting training to team members.
* Demonstrate growth mindset.
* Demonstrate end to end accountability.
* Familiarity with customer service environment and ability to meet identified targets, KPIs and SLAs.
* Project Management experience with small to medium projects.
