Summary

This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO - Information Systems and Chief Information Officer. As an IT Specialist (APPSW), you will provide leadership and expert advice in determining and designing complex, customized applications architecture and in analyzing and refining unique or experimental systems requirements.

Duties

As an ,IT Specialist (APPSW) you will:

- Analyze and refine unique or experimental software requirements.
- Plan and design systems architecture where little or no precedent exists.
- Write, debug, and maintain difficult, dated, or agency-specific code.
- Determine and design complex, customized applications architecture.
- Determine output media/formats for special, sensitive, or high-profile reports and presentations that may attract congressional or national media attention.
- Provide policy and process support to the entire team to develop, maintain, and improve our compliance with the federal governments Section 508 program.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience for GS-14: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:

Experience working in PeopleSoft HRMS 9.2 as a PeopleSoft developer; AND
Experience in integration with external partners through web services by configuring, developing, and implementing PeopleSoft integration broker; AND
Experience developing procedures and strategies to ensure the optimization and integration of PeopleSoft environments; AND
Experience in software development using tools such as; PeopleTools, Application Engine, People Code, SQR, BIPublisher, and Oracle 19c or higher.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
