This is a hybrid position with in-office flexibility 2-3 days a week.
We are seeking an experienced Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As an M&A Project Manager, you will oversee pre- and post-merger insurance programs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal outcomes for our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills, a deep understanding of insurance products, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Oversee pre- and post-merger insurance programs, including scoping, closing, and integration.
- Evaluate and communicate the impact of transactions on insurance programs, including stock or asset transactions, carve-outs, standalone or add-ons.
- Organize data rooms, manage data request lists, and collaborate with key stakeholders, including private equity firms and internal teams.
- Draft comprehensive due diligence reports, exposure workbooks, and loss summaries, effectively communicating key findings to clients.
- Facilitate the implementation of recommended changes and coordinate smooth transitions at closing.
- Coordinate NFP's internal resources across different specialties (Property & Casualty, Cyber Liability, Management Liability, etc.) and/or geographical areas (Foreign Liability).
- Conduct due diligence, including assessing risk management, exposure, claims, and other information provided in the data room.
- Participate in monitoring and reporting meetings, collecting and synthesizing information.
- Coordinate with employee benefits, retirement, reps & warranties, and other internal teams to complete the due diligence process.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&A, project management, or a related role within the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance products and programs.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in organizing data rooms and managing data request lists.
- Ability to draft comprehensive due diligence reports and communicate findings effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter).
- Experience working with private equity firms.
- Knowledge of international insurance programs and regulations.
- Familiarity with employee benefits, retirement plans, and reps & warranties insurance.

The base salary range for this position is $51,000 to 100,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
