Title: OT Network Administrator

Location: Houston, TX

Schedule: Hybrid

Duration: 6-12 contract (potential to convert)

Day-to-day:

• Working closely with operations departments to identify network issues
• Partner with the operators when there are issues for break fixes
• Network incident troubleshooting
• Network design and maintenance
• Migration of operations systems/platforms from the IT environment to the OT environment
• Installation/set up of OT environments
• Involvement in various migration projects
• Understanding Murphy Oil's network infrastructure and methodology
• Working with firewalls, routing, and networks

Must-haves:

• 5-10 years of experience in network engineering
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Claroty, Cisco, Carbon Black, wireless/WiFi experience (Cambium/TropOS), SolarWinds, Azure
• Education not required
• Network certificates
• Proficient in Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word

Plusses:

• Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Industrial Network Specialist (CCINS), Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA) or higher, and other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Cybersecurity tools;
• SRA (secure remote access)
• CTD (continuous threat detection)
• VMware - carbon black (application control)
• Coming from an industrial/OT background
• Cybersecurity background
• Scripting experience
