This position is for a senior-level Digital Product Manager to lead a ground-up build of a new digital payments platform. This role is a strategic modernization initiative for the digital banking ecosystem. The manager will partner with internal stakeholders to address complex business issues and optimize the customer experience through best-in-class digital offerings.
Key Responsibilities- Define and own the long-term strategy, roadmap, and expansion of the new digital payments hub for instant payments, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Lead the ground-up build of the platform supporting both mobile and online banking.
- Manage performance metrics (usage, sales, fraud, etc.) to forecast trends and guide data-driven decisions.
- Oversee vendor relationships and ensure compliance, including management of the selected platform vendor.
- Develop agile lean business cases, secure governance approval, and present to senior leadership.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across business and technology to build consensus.
- Identify and manage risks in accordance with bank protocols.
- Support frontline associates with tools, training, and communications.
Experience: 5–10+ years of Product Management experience. A Bachelor’s degree requires 7 years of relevant experience, while a High School Diploma/GED requires 11 years.
Domain Knowledge: Experience in digital payments, digital product management, and/or banking/financial services is required.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications- SAFe Agilist or Product Owner/Manager certification.
- Experience with vendor-led platform implementation.
- Background in BSA / AML / OFAC / CDD.
- Experience with payments vendors comparable to Nirvana.
The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $70.00 per hour. Our organization offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and other insurance plans. An Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) and a 401K program are also available.
