About the Role
Client Investment Services & Technology group (CIS) within InvesTech Operations has an open position for an Analyst based out of the Boston or Needham Massachusetts office supporting the Private Investments Reporting Team. The Analyst is expected to primarily focus on Private Credit (PC) products with Private Equity (PE) coverage and support a possibility.
Producing high quality, accurate, and timely reporting is one of the key aspects of providing superior service to our clients, prospects, and consultants. To that end, the Private Investments Reporting Team within CIS covers all PE and PC products and is responsible for creating, maintaining, and producing marketing and client materials as well as customized reporting and commentary. The Private Investments Reporting Team is expected to develop expertise in the products they cover and are expected to understand the outlook, process, positioning, strategy, and the current market environment. The team will be closely aligned with Focus Initiatives – Investor Relations (FI-IR) and serve as internal subject matter expert to CIS and the Client Group broadly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
· Partner with FI-IR and our Client Group to understand the fundamentals of our products and the general content needs of our clients, prospects, and consultants
· Serve as an internal subject matter expert to the other roles within CIS, Client Group, and the broader Firm
· Own the design/creation of initial marketing and client content for new products that will serve as the backbone of reporting which will entail independent and direct collaboration with FI-IR, Investment Teams, and Marketing
· Develop an expertise in an assigned coverage to effectively develop and deliver product-level content for clients; this includes but may not be limited to, quarterly reporting, writing attribution and performance commentary, tailoring portfolio positioning and outlook text, understanding product-specific data nuances, answering ad-hoc questions related to the product, etc.
· Develop an expertise in an assigned coverage to effectively develop, deliver, and maintain product-level marketing content; this includes but may not be limited to generic marketing presentations, institutional fact sheets, and product summaries
· Take the lead on the production of customized client content and requests by leveraging product and infrastructure expertise
· Peer review client content completed by the team as needed to ensure accuracy, data reasonability, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
· 3+ years of professional experience in either investment management or operational support roles
· Candidates should demonstrate a high level of capital markets/investment/product interest and knowledge, particularly in the fixed income, private, and/or alternative asset classes
· Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and willingness to stretch beyond standard procedures and deliverables
· Ability and comfort working independently with Investment Teams and senior management
· Extremely proactive and assumes ownership of tasks through completion
· Demonstrated desire to better themselves and continually learn/develop
· Excellent quantitative and communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail
· The individual must be an independent self-starter, a team player, and able to work on multiple assignments and complete high-quality work against strict and competing deadlines that are dictated by prospects, consultants, and clients
· The position requires extensive use of internal and external systems and databases, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
· A positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism are essential
· An MBA, CFA, CAIA, or progress toward these qualifications is a plus

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is:
USD 65,000 - 150,000This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
