Summary

This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence - Executive Office of Asset Forfeiture. As a Program Analyst (Strategic Planning), you will you will serve as an analyst responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis of all aspects of the asset forfeiture program for the purpose of enhancing its efficiency and ensuring the most effective uses of the Treasury Forfeiture Fund (TFF) funds.

Duties

Program Analyst (Strategic Planning)his is a remote position. The salary range listed depicts the range covering the lowest locality level, up to the highest locality level. Salary will be determined upon selection and dependent upon duty location, grade, step, and locality pay of selectee(s). Additional salary information can be found on .

As a Program Analyst (Strategic Planning), you will:
-Perform data manipulation, quantitative analysis and visual representation of the forfeiture program related data.
-Develop written analytical products on subjects involving Treasury Forfeiture Fund (TFF) agencies' significant financial investigative initiatives; related money laundering trends; investigative capabilities, practices/tools; operational and infrastructure needs and necessary resources;
-Perform in-depth analyses of the various aspects of the TFF agencies' forfeiture practices, policies and specific high-impact forfeiture investigations.
-Evaluate funding requests submitted by TFF member agencies for consistency with forfeiture policies, Treasury and Homeland Security strategies and policies; impact on the forfeiture program, operational viability and cost efficiency.
-Assist in developing long-range strategies for major TFF program elements involving monitoring of existing program plans and developing mechanisms to project future program developments.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience for the GS-13: To qualify at the GS-13 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, that is directly related to the position, and which has equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.

Specialized Experience is defined as ALL the following:
- Evaluating documentation for consistency or compliance with policies, guidelines, directives, and procedures; AND
- Analyzing issues related to civil or criminal forfeitures that may include investigations leading to forfeiture, disposition of forfeited properties, or distribution of proceeds; AND
- Researching policy in order to provide guidance and assistance to stakeholders; AND
- Program planning, business process improvements, or assisting project management teams; AND
-Conducting research or data collection then making recommendations based on research.



The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
