Job Location: 4800 Waco, TX
Work days/Shift Hours: Monday- Friday with occasional Saturdays. Early morning start time between 3 AM-10 AM with the ability to flex as needed- and corresponding end time depending on start time. (Approximately 9 hour shift)
Additional Relevant Information: Class A CDL Preferred
General Purpose
Responsible for the effective and efficient distribution of product and management of drivers within a specific territory.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
- Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements.
- Manages drivers' delivery schedule and hours worked.
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolving customer issues.
- Serve as liaison between distribution and sales.
- Manage and audit team member's timekeeping.
- Maintain JJ Keller compliance.
- Collaborate with central planning on facility route plans.
- Manage within labor and OPEX budget.
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree Preferred.
Experience:
- 1-3 years experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required.
- Previous experience managing people and budgets required.
- 1 or more years experience supervising distribution/delivery staff preferred.
- Intermediate computer and database application skills required.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations required. Valid driver’s license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines required. CDL preferred.
