Job Title: Lead Appian Developer (Custom Application Development & Data Modernization)

Key Responsibilities:
Appian Solution Architecture & Development:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Appian-based solutions, focusing on custom workflows, forms, and business process automation.
- Architecting Appian solutions for large-scale platforms with multiple components, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Integrate Appian with external systems like Informatica (IDMC), MariaDB, and other enterprise applications.
- Implement digital signatures and automated business rules for forms and workflows.
- Oversee the migration and modernization of business and legacy applications to the Appian platform.
- Customize Appian workflows and solutions beyond out-of-the-box configurations, ensuring business needs are met with flexibility and efficiency.
- Engage in front-end development using CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant front-end technologies for Appian UI.
- Drive the integration of APIs (REST, SOAP) and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Lead a team of 10-12 Appian developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
- Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams, ensuring successful integration and adoption of new systems.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership are essential for coordinating efforts with business teams and technical teams.
- Support the transition from legacy platforms to a more modern and scalable cloud-based solution.
- Ensure the proper data governance, reporting, and workflow management are established in the new platform.
- Collaborate with the business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective Appian solutions.
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Appian development and implementation.
- Proven experience leading large-scale Appian development projects, particularly in migrating and modernizing complex legacy systems.
- Strong experience in custom Appian development (beyond out-of-the-box configuration) and solution architecture.
- Expertise in Appian workflows, forms, business process management, and data management.
- Experience with Appian integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs) and integrating with platforms like Informatica and MariaDB.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, manual testing, and potentially fitness testing.
- Hands-on experience with front-end development (CSS, JavaScript) for Appian UI.
- Strong understanding of MariaDB and SQL for database integration and management.
- Solid background in Informatica and data management (IDMC) for cloud-based data integration and migration.
- Ability to work with REST APIs and SOAP-based integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
- Strong leadership with the ability to mentor and guide a team of developers.
- Excellent communication and the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience working with cloud-based platforms and migrating legacy systems to the cloud.
- Exposure to digital signatures and workflow automation.
